Not many people know this, but Corner House had actually started in 1982 as a fast food joint to serve Goan and Chinese food.

“Ice cream business is a happy business,” says Mr Narayan Rao in one of the interviews, who gave Bangalore the Corner House.
With over 18 outlets across Bangalore, Corner House has been delighting customers with an irresistible ice-cream. Another day my manager told me of his fond memories about Corner house when he was in college (this is sometime in the ’90s).
Corner House is a very simple but comfortable place. With some of rare old Bangalore landmark Photos of Ashoka pillar, MG Road around, it tells you about the change Bangalore has witnessed.
It has a casual sitting space with self-service. The Jayanagar Corner house, not very spacious but that doesn’t change the fact that it is a Corner house and known for delicious desserts. The décor is well maintained, clean and hygienic. It gets crowded on weekends and has to wait some times.
A premier Ice cream brand well known for quality and variety of ice-creams. The menu includes a variety of scoops, Sundaes and multiple mixes.
There is a long list of items to taste at Corner House. I need to mentioned Hot chocolate fudge and Brown bomb are some of the most favourites among chocolate lovers. But one item that stands out and I am sure you agree with that is Death by Chocolate (DBC). Needless to say, it is the crown jewel of Corner House. If you have visited CH, then you know what I mean. DBC easily one of the best thing Corner House has produced. It is a deadly combination of Vanilla ice-cream, chocolate brownie, cream, hot chocolate and to make it perfect nuts and cherries on the top of it. With the family of 4, we usually have 1 or 2 DBC’s. I bet it needs best of your capacity to finish it alone.
And yes, apart from chocolate lovers, it has a lot to offer. Along with amazing flavours of scoop ice creams, Corner house has around 90+ variety to offer which includes some amazing Sundaes and Shakes.
Everything you try, taste so fresh and delightful so much so that you would like to have more and more with the exception of DBC.
So guys, if you are in Bangalore, Corner house is a must-visit place. If you haven’t been around, just check for the nearest corner house to taste some of the best desserts you can have in Bangalore. And must try is DBC. I am sure, you will love it.
